Obituary for Paula Lerman

Age 29, of Edina, passed away on September 26, 2021. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Calvin & Beverly Lerman, and Elwin & Vivian Simon. She is survived by her parents, Frank Lerman and Carol Simon; brother, Ben Lerman (Jill Lackner); nephews, Eli Lerman and Sam Lerman; aunts and uncles, Allen (Theresa) Simon, Bill (Mary) Lerman, Esther (Albert Benjohar) Lerman and Mark (Lisa) Lerman; and many cousins and extended family. Despite her many medical problems, Paula was a happy person, a ray of sunshine who loved seeing her friends and family. Friday night dinners, ending with several games of Go Fish, were a special favorite. Funeral service 10:30 AM on THURSDAY, September 30th at TEMPLE OF AARON SYNAGOGUE, 616 Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Organic Acidemia Association, Workabilities.org, or to the donor’s favorite charity. SHIVA 7:00 PM on Thursday at Temple of Aaron Synagogue. Faye adored her Grandchildren: Zach, Chris, Meghan, Annikka, Alec, Jenni & Ricky, & dearest friend Faye Halfen. Faye was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1939. Faye loved sharing her time in Coney Island Beach with her family where she loved to swim. Faye was a loving mother & grandma she touched many lives and if you had met Faye you would remember her because she always made you laugh. Her friendships were enduring, and often life-long. There will be a private service at Carefree Living Chapel for Immediate Family & Close Friends in Burnsville, MN on Saturday, Feb. 4th at 10:30 AM. In the final phase it was a true family affair with John, Hans and Eric all lending a hand to install the railing. This beautiful patio has really opened up our back yard and it will be enjoyed by both staff and clients for decades to come.
